I’m looking across at the olympic peninsula right now from victoria right now and it really just settled in for me that losing that might actually be possible.
I would literally be willing to die trying to save the hoh rainforest.
Am I overreacting here?
I haven’t got a clue what you’re trying to achieve here…other countries did bad things, I know. But we aren’t talking about those countries, so I don’t understand why you’d bring them up.
Nor have I mentioned “the past few centuries”…there’s no need.
Can you enlighten me as to what your objective is?
I am talking about a single country, yet you can’t seem to focus on a single timeframe.
You mention centuries old generalized stuff such that it could be applied to most any nation. Do you not remember this?
Then you said…
We’re taking about now. Not the 1800s. So one more time for the backseats…
Saying the US had slavery to make a point is lazy and doesn’t help the here and now. Yea those things happened, they fucking sucked, and they should be condemned on their own merit alone. Using them to end a conversation on current issues is poor form and low hanging fruit. Especially when you generalize such that most every industrialized nation is just as guilty. The fact is that guilt isn’t the end of the story. Ask Germany
Genocide and slavery are happening now.
We are specifically talking about USA. You keep mentioning other countries.
Your comments have nothing to do with post title, nor do they help, as you can’t tell me what your point is…. Night.
Are atomic bombs being dropped now too?
That’s referring to current events?
