At the “risk” of his job, a veteran CNBC journalist has blasted President Donald Trump’s tariff threats as “absolutely insane” — and popular financial news host Jim Cramer wondered if Trump is deliberately “manufacturing” a recession.

If someone wanted to actively dismantle this country from the top down, I am not sure what they could do that Trump isn’t already doing.

  Default on America’s debt? Do a blanket pardon on everyone who committed a federal crime?
  
  Although because of Trump’s history of bankrupting Casinos and pardoning felons, maybe soon he will.
