Summary

Trump dismissed concerns over his new tariffs, calling them a “little disturbance,” despite warnings from retailers and even some Republicans about rising prices.

With inflation and cost-of-living pressures still top concerns, Trump blames his predecessor, but Democrats argue his policies will worsen the situation.

Critics warn tariffs on allies could hurt manufacturing and farming, giving Democrats a rallying point ahead of midterms.

If prices keep rising, Trump’s economic stance may become a political liability, despite his strong voter support, potentially benefiting Democrats seeking to regain power.

Ah but you forget. Democrats suck at messaging and don’t know how to use anything to their advantage. If anyone could fuck up messaging on this, it’s democrats.

Chip in before he leaves the stage to make his lies BACKFIRE! pelosi4.us

This reads like a comment from r/conservative. Pessimism and whining get upvotes though, so congrats on the internet points, I guess.

I am not American, absolutely not republican (they really should change that to oligarchic) or conservative, nor sympathizer. I honestly agree with their pessimistic view.
