    Because they’re incorrect.

    I said:

That looks like screenshot from any user to me.

Apparently I’m wrong about what something looks like to me.

I’ve seen your other comments, and it seems like you’re sour over getting downvoted because you weren’t able to notice a subtle difference that’s not easily obvious.

Personally, I like to be strict with the downvote button. It’s just something I picked up (and miss) from old Reddit: there used to be a strict culture on the site, which would lead to a high influx of relevant quality content.

In contrast, I saw a post on [email protected] yesterday about the theistic breakdown of the American demographic. It was a cool graph, but not a shitpost; yet it had still gained more upvotes than downvotes.

Ultimately, I don’t think you should worry about it, as these votes matter even less on Lemmy than they do on Reddit.

No, I am sour because people can’t fucking read and insert what they think I’m saying instead of responding to what I wrote.

You could have kept your pie hole shut when you saw that there was a response that clarified what I wasn’t seeing.

Well what you said wasn’t exactly an opinion, it was an incorrect statement. The yellow border indicates that the person who was pinged took the photo.
