That sounds like a completely believable explanation to me. I can completely believe that that the military advisors didn’t give him the full picture of what was happening there.

Tell that to trans kids, women who need abortions, minorities being fired as “DEI hires”, and immigrants in concentration camps.

The Democrats had a filibuster proof trifecta for 73 days in 2009 and they passed Obamacare. Republicans spent the next decade trying to destroy it. I’m not saying Dems would do all of what you said, but when they are given the chance they move things in the right direction.
