Okay I just double checked and you’re totally right. When I was in the military someone had told me there was actually regulations around “military grade” and they were just different from milspec. Technically military grade is supposed to refer to milspec but in the private world they don’t check if it’s actually true or not

“Military grade” means that it went through one extra round of inspection before it was sent out as far as I’m aware. This round of inspection is basically just putting it through certain weather conditions to simulate “will this survive a deployment”

I watched Gordon Ramsay on Hot Ones, eating hot wings and answering questions. At the end, they asked him to cook eggs. He put them straight into the pan with some butter and scrambled em just like that, so I do it too

I used to get into arguments about the “cowards” thing. Like yeah, they forfeit a time or two and lost a few fights. So have most countries, whether they let you know about it or not.

They have also been a global super power for at least as long as America has existed, or longer, depending on what you consider to be a super power. So yeah, they brushed up against a couple of rough patches in that time lol

Whenever I come up with euphemisms like this, I’m openly honest about the reason and this has done me a lot of good.
