Unsurprising considering that Rubio has tied his identity so closely with being anti-Cuba. Many of the Cuban American diaspora in the US echo his sentiments. I like that the article highlights how many medical professionals got their education in Cuba, including a number of Americans.
This article cites South Korea as an example of falling birth rates. However, some data shows that South Korea’s initiatives have helped it see in a light uptick in their birth rates. Time will tell ultimately whether or not the policies are a success. Link to article on Al Jazeera about SK.
